Saigontourist welcomes 3,200 cruise visitors to Ha Long Bay

Saigontourist Travel Services (STS) will host a group of 3,200 tourists from the five-star SuperStar Virgo cruise ship which berthed Tuesday in Ha Long Bay.

The tourists are scheduled to attend an inland tour organized by STS to explore the beauty of Ha Long Bay via stops at various islets, before heading off to Hong Kong on the same day.

The stopover is a part of the cruise ship’s five-day itinerary covering the Hong Kong-Chengzhou-Ha Long Bay-Hong Kong route.

The SuperStar Virgo will return to Vietnam for a scheduled berth every Tuesday starting from today until October 22, 2008, STS announced.

This year, STS has hosted more than 20,000 tourists arriving by sea from countries, including China, UK, and France.
