Mountaineers to take on Everest

Vietnamese mountaineers Le Ba Cong, Nguyen Mau Linh, Bui Van Ngoi and Phan Thanh Nhien will set off to conquer Mount Everest on March 31.

The climbers have been training for the 8,850m climb (scheduled to take 64 days) on mount Kinabalu in Malaysia , Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and the 6,160m-high Island Peak in Nepal . The team managed to reach the summit of Island Peak in 20 days.
