International tourism, commercial fair to be held in border town
An International Tourism and Commercial Fair will be held in Mong Cai border town, the northern province of Quang Ninh from November 1 to 6.
The fair will showcase products of the fashion industry, household utensils, wood works, home decoration articles, fine arts and handicrafts, farm produce, processed food, construction materials and equipment and tourism services of Vietnamese and foreign businesses.
The fair also includes a seminar on commerce, tourism and investment with participants coming from Quang Ninh and other Vietnamese provinces and foreign enterprises.
At a press briefing to introduce the fair in Hanoi on August 9, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Le Danh Vinh said that the fair is expected to help boost trade and tourism between Vietnam and China, creating opportunities for enterprises from both countries to exchange experiences and reach long-term agreements.
