Hai Phong - Cat Ba Pearl Island

Cat Ba Island is an archipelago with more than 300 different big and small islands in Ha Long Bay.
This main island is approximately 100 square kilometers which has been acknowledged as a bright pearl that is located in the middle of the oceanic and mountainous region. It is not only a very popular sightseeing location of Hai Phong City, but has also been known with many archaeological remnants of the ancient periods. It is currently under great preservation and is progressively developing in terms of becoming an ecotourism site. With a high diversity of landscape and outstanding scenery, Cat Ba was declared by UNESCO as World Natural Heritage.
